Intro
I’m Carlos Rivera, a photographer with a background in architecture and over 15 years of experience photographing spaces across the Americas.
I focus on interiors, architecture, and hospitality, not as content, but as design stories worth translating into images. My work is intentional, collaborative, and always built around the space, not the camera.
My Background
I studied architecture and worked in the field before transitioning fully into photography. That experience taught me to read a space, to see how light, form, and materials interact, and it still shapes how I shoot today.
Over the years, I’ve worked with designers, architects, hotels, and creative teams throughout Latin America and the U.S. What they all have in common is a respect for the design process, and the need for images that reflect that same care.
My Approach
I shoot with intention. I don’t chase trends or over-produce a space. I work with natural light as much as possible, and I’ll enhance it with artificial tools only when it helps the image speak more clearly.
My style is clean, honest, and responsive, always adapting to the project, the designer, and the context. I bring my own perspective, but I’m here to support yours.
What Clients Can Expect
I believe in making the process simple and reliable. Good planning leads to good results. Every shoot is tailored to the project, and I make sure you receive a set of consistent, thoughtful images ready to use across your portfolio, website, or publication.
